This data privacy statement informs you about the handling of your personal data and especially explains the kind, scope and purpose of processing your personal data while visiting our website and using its functions. According to Art. 4 para. 1 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person; for further concepts we refer to Art. 4 para. 1 GDPR.

II. Which rights do you have?

You have the following rights concerning personal data related to you:
  • Right to access (according to Art. 15 GDPR),
  • Right to rectification (according to Art. 16 GDPR),
  • Right to erasure (according to Art. 17 GDPR),
  • Right to restriction of processing (according to Art. 18 GDPR),
  • Right to data portability (according to Art. 20 GDPR),
  • Right to object (according to Art. 21 GDPR).
According to Art. 77 GDPR you also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

If you consented to data processing you have (according to Art. 7 para. 3 GDPR) the right to withdraw consent at any time. The withdrawal of consent will not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

III. For which purposes and on what legal basis do we process personal data?

Visit of our Website
If you visit our website and do not transfer personal data in another way to us, we only collect the personal data your browser sends us. These are:
  • IP address of your system,
  • date and time (incl. time zone) of your request,
  • type, content and protocol version of your request (i.e. which page is visited),
  • connection state (http status code) of our server,
  • size (bytes) of our server response,
  • website from which the request originates (so called “referrer”),
  • your user agent (type, version and used operating system) and
  • domain you requested.
We store these data in log files too. These data are technically required to display our website, to assure stability and security and to optimize our website. Legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, our legitimate interest is based on the above intentions.

We at the latest delete these data after seven days. If these data are stored for a longer period we delete or anonymize any personal data; when anonymizing IP addresses this is done by shortening them before storage.

E-mail contact
If you contact us via E-mail we store the related personal data in order to reply to your query. In this process your data may be stored in a customer relationship management system (aka: CRM system) or a similar software solution. During transport and delivery of your E-mail logfiles are created normally; these contain timestamps of the communication, IP addresses of the involved E-Mail server and the E-mail addresses of the involved communication partners. These data are technically required to assure a correct function of our E-mail server and act as a proof if E-mail server problems or security incidents occur.

Legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, our legitimate interest is based on the above intention. If contacting takes place in connection with a conclusion of contract or in connection with an existing contractual relationship legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR.

Related data are deleted when your query is completed, no data retention obligation exists and data is not essential for fulfilment. We at the latest delete logfiles on our E-mail server after seven days. You can beyond object the processing if it was legitimate by Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.
